Malapascua Island, Cebu is a shallow island located in the Visayan Sea which only stretches for about 2.5 kilometres long and 1 kilometre wide. Tiny it may seem, this little island boasts of a great shoreline and exciting dive sites. Monad Shoal, 30-35 minutes from the main island is an underwater plateau which is one place in the world where thresher sharks are commonly seen especially before sunrise.
