Dive Link Island Resort in Coron, Palawan, Philippines is your link to volcanic lakes, tropical jungles, caves, and some of the best preserved World War II wrecks in Asia. Location

The trip from Manila by air to Busuanga is a 55-minute flight. Land transfer to Coron town is on the jeep shuttle service a 45-minute ride through verdant countryside. It is located at Uson Island, Coron, Palawan.

  • There are several types of cottages from single, one-room affairs to four-room cottage that can fit an entire family and some of their cousins.
  • Cottages are named after the fruit bearing trees that can be found on the property. There are 7 Bungalow Cottages, 4 Executive Garden Suites with 1 room and lounge, 1 large family cottage on the hill that has 3 rooms, and 5 room family cottages a top a hill on the western end of the Resort. All have air conditioning unit, hot and cold shower, and balconies overlooking the Coron waterways.
  • Minimalist in landscaping, the garden complements the coconut trees and fruit bearing trees, flowering shrubs lend a dash of color. All furniture in the cottages are of bamboo and were made on site.
  • The Coconut Grove Restaurant looks out into the bay and is framed by coconut trees. Sit and watch the dive boats and fishing vessels go by in the morning. At dusk, watch the birds come back to roost in the resort’s trees around the restaurant.
  • Dinner and all other meals are served in the large pavilion atop the Resort. Lunch is ala carte as most of the guests are away on some island adventure but breakfast and dinners are usually served buffet style. Dinner is a great time for socializing with other guests.
  • A swimming pool below the pavilion is designed with scuba diving in mind. Guests who are still learning the ropes can have their lessons or do some practice dives in the pool before setting out to open sea. On certain nights or whenever the guests wishes, dinner can be served by the pool. Relax at day’s end pool-side: enjoy a cool fresh coconut juice at Water’s Edge Bar. Jump into the refreshing water. Or catch the sunset from the end of the pier.
  • The Frangie Panie Wellness Spa located just beside the pool offers Thai, Swedish and Shiatsu Massage. The spa also has a wide selection of aromatherapy oils that guests can choose from. Other services offered are hand, back, foot and whole body massages.
  • Dive Link Island Resort also has wireless internet access available for guests who cannot get away from their work or for those who simply want to check updates online for emails and news. An internet room with 2 personal computer units can be used upon availability.

  • Trekking – Visit the Coron town market, local souvenir shops and end it by trekking the 720 steps up to Mt.Tapyas for a 360 degrees scenic view of the harbor, limestone cliffs and Busuanga. Trekking to Uson Summit can bring you to natural bliss, the 30 to 45-minutes trek brings you to the top of Uson Island, and one can see from the summit the nearby islands of Coron. A good time to trek Uson is during sunrise and sunset.
  • Kayaking – Kayak along mangroves across the Resort or along the limestone cliffs at Coron Island. Tag along a friend and enjoy each other’s company and the Coron waterways. Kayaking at the lagoons will take your breath away with the magnificent views of Coron’s famous limestone cliffs.
  • Swimming – Enjoy the Resort’s pool while in good company of family and friends, or have fun during the island tours and swim through the calm waters of Coron, Palawan. Swim, snorkel and kayak in the quiet lagoons or at Kayangan Lake, known to be the cleanest lake in the Philippines, the picture perfect lakes emerges after one has walked up a mountain trail. Along the way is a perfect lookout point of Coron Island.
  • Diving – Plunge into any of the World War II Japanese wrecks or at bays where coral reefs thrive.
  • Fishing – Having to visit Palawan, one can enjoy the sea’s bounty by the wide array and salt-water fishes such as tuna, red and black grouper, subingan and danggit to name a few. Try fun fishing with friends at the resort’s pier or during the island tours and have a good catch!
  • Island Hopping – Choose your own island to explore such as the Black Island and Popototan island.
  • Calauit Safari Tour – During this day tour to the wildlife park, one can enjoy the sight of giraffes, zebras and animals endemic to Palawan like the Calamian deer, bearcat, mouse deer, porcupine and Palawan peacock.
  • Culion Historical Walk – Discover the island’s old church that overlooks the harbor and the town’s old hospital that has been converted into a museum depicting the history of the island as a leper colony.
